The Goal Foundation’s vision is to pioneer new ways of helping people to escape poverty anywhere in the world.

Billions of dollars in aid are distributed each year. Even so, hundreds of millions of people still live in desperate poverty.

There is room to try a different approach! The Goal Foundation concentrates on strengthening what people in poverty are already doing to help themselves.
Our strategy is to:

• search out and scale up good local initiatives
• encourage and resource people who are taking a lead
• check money is being spent properly and well
• spread inspiration, ideas and skills in every way we can

We prioritise our activities where the need is greatest and the help is least.

Our first focus is to assist the huge and growing number of orphans and vulnerable children in sub-Saharan Africa devastated by HIV/AIDS. More...
